Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow?

I am one of the world's best procrastinators.  Always have been, probably always will.  I was the one who would put off the school project until the night before and be up late, frustrated and mad, vowing to not do it the next time.  And we can all guess what happened with the next project. :)  I would like to say I've gotten better, but that would probably be a lie.  If you want it done before Friday, tell me it's due on Wednesday.  You might get it on Thursday. :)  Thanks in part to Pinterest, I've had many grand plans this summer, but not a whole lot has gotten done!  Have I enjoyed my mornings of Boy Meets World and Will & Grace with Hope?  Certainly!  We could have been productive in the afternoons, but it's been a lot of fun to be lazy:

There are a few things that have been accomplished.  For example, taming the disaster formerly known as Baby H's closet:

"Before" Looking straight into the closet.

"Before" Looking into the closet to the left.

Wouldn't it have been cool if I had used one of the ideas on Pinterest to DIY a closet organizer?  Yeah, I thought so too.  BUT, this is real life, not fantasy, so the hubby and I went to Lowes and purchased one.  I did however have to assemble it myself, while the hubby was at work and Baby H was awake.  It involved using a screwdriver and a hammer, so I'm saying I built it. :)  AND it was successful!

"During" the building process.  Baby H was pretty excited about getting organized!

Remember that procrastinating thing?  Yeah, I haven't taken a "finished" picture yet. :) I'll put it on my "to do list" for today.  It is finished though and it looks MUCH better!

SO, here's the goal.  I have three weeks left of summer break (I know, I'm very sad too).  I WILL accomplish SOMETHING productive each day.  And by accomplish, I don't mean just pin it.  Check back to see what's happening!

Blueberry picking yesterday.  Maybe we'll make some treats today?? :)
